You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
(Repeat 3 times)
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the work and Grace of the Holy Spirit, born of the Holy Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into the dead; the third day He arose again; He ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the flesh, and Life Eternal.
Amen 0
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of The Painful Passion of Jesus,1 have mercy on us and on the whole world.
(Repeat 10 times)
Holy God,
Holy Omnipotent One,2
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.
(Repeat 3 times)
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Amen

Saint Maria Faustina
Faustina wrote that on the night of Sunday February 22, 1931 Jesus appeared to her as the "King of Divine Mercy" wearing a white garment, with rays of white and red light emanating from near his heart. In her diary (Notebook I, items 47 and 48) she recorded Jesus instructing her:

"Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: "Jesus, I trust in You". I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and then throughout the world. I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish."
Jesus asked both Faustina and through her the entire world, that His Passion and Death be venerated at 3:00 in the afternoon, the hour in which he died on the Cross. His words were:

"At 3 in the afternoon implore my Mercy, especially for sinners. And, even if it is for just a brief instant, think of My Passion, above all of the total abandonment in the moment of My Agony. It is the hour of my Great Mercy for the entire world.... In that hour, I will not deny any soul that asks of me and, appeals to My Passion."

Saint John Paul II
Saint Pope John Paul II wrote his last and final statement from his death bed that he prepared to be read on the Sunday after his passing (Divine Mercy Sunday). In his final words, he expressed the importance to understand and accept today, the very urgent message of Our Lords Divine Mercy. He wrote to the people of the world:

"As a gift to humanity, which sometimes seems bewildered and overwhelmed by the power of evil, selfishness, and fear, the Risen Lord offers His love that pardons, reconciles, and reopens hearts to love. It is love that converts hearts and gives peace. How much the world needs to understand and accept Divine Mercy!

Lord, who reveals the Fathers love by Your Death and Resurrection, we believe in You and confidently repeat to You... Jesus, I trust in You, have mercy upon us and upon the whole world!"
