INITIAL PRAYER

O most Holy Mary! Chosen and destined ab eterno by the most august Trinity to be Mother of the Only-begotten Son of the Father, announced by the Prophets, awaited by the Patriarchs, and desired by all people; living sanctuary and temple of the Holy Spirit, sun without stain, because you were conceived without original sin; Queen of Heaven and earth, Queen of the Angels: we, humbly prostrated before you, we venerate you, and are overjoyed before the solemn yearly commemoration of your most joyful Nativity; and in the most ntimate recesses of our hearts we plead that you deem it good to come and be born spiritually in our souls so that, in them, captivated by your lovingness and sweetness, they live always united to your most sweet and loving Heart.

DAY I

Now, with nine distinct salutations we will contemplate the nine months that you were enclosed in the maternal womb; proclaiming that native of the Royal lineage of David, you came with great honor to be birthed from the entrains of Saint Anne, your most fortunate mother. Avemara

DAY II

We salute you, O Celestial Child, most candid dove of purity who, to spite the infernal dragon were conceived without original sin. Avemara

DAY III

We greet you, O most brilliant Aurora who, as a precursor of the Sun of Justice, brought the first Light to the world. Avemara

DAY IV

We salute you, O Chosen one who, as a Sun without any stain, emerged in the most tenebrous night of sin. Avemara

DAY V

We greet you, O most beautiful moon, who illuminated the world surrounded in the most dense fogs of paganism. Avemara

DAY VI

We salute you unto a forced warrier who, alone, in the likeness of a numerous army, put into flight all of hell. Avemara

DAY VII

We greet you, O beautiful soul of Mary, whom God has possessed for all eternity. Avemara

DAY VIII

We salute you, O beloved Child, and we venerate your most holy little body, the sacred diapers in which you were swaddled, and the sacred cradle in which you reposed, and we bless the point and moment in which you were born. Avemara

DAY IX

Finally, we greet you, O beloved Child as adorned with all the virtues, in a inmensely most elevated degree than all the other Saints and that, having been made the worthy Mother of our Savior, and having conceived by virtue of the Holy Spirit, you gave birth to the Incarnate Word. Avemara

FINAL PRAYER

O most grandiose Child! You who with your most happy birth have consoled the world, made Heaven joyful and terrified hell; have given assistance to the fallen, consolation to the sad, health to the sick and happiness to all. I plead to you with my most fervent affections that you rebirth spiritually, with your holy love, our souls. Renew our spirit so that we may serve you. Inflame once again our heart so that we love you; and make blossom in us those virtues with which we may always be more agreeable to your thrice most benign eyes. O Mary! Be Mary for us always, making us experience the healthy effects of your most sweetest Name; may the invocation of your Name be our relief in our labors, our hope in our dangers, our shield in our temptations, our breath in our death. May the Name of Mary be like honey in our mouths, melody in our ears, and bliss in our hearts. So be it.

OUR FATHER

Our Father, Who Art In Heaven
Hallowed Be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Liberate us from all temptation[*]
And deliver us from all evil. Amen

[*] Liberate us is in keeping with the original Latin text.
       God usually does not "lead us" to temptation
       (unless we are tested),
       but gives us the grace to overcome and/or resist it
X
HAIL MARY

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art though among women,
And blessed is the fruit
Of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mary of God
Pray for us sinners
Now, and in the hour
Of our death. Amen

X
APOSTLE'S CREED

I believe in God, the Father Almighty Creator of Heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His Only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the
[work and grace of the] Holy Ghost,[*]
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into the Dead.[**]
On the third day, He rose again;
He ascended into Heaven,
And sits at the right hand of God,
the Father Almighty.
From thence he shall come to judge
the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost,[*]
The Holy Catholic Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins.
The resurrection of the body,
And life everlasting. Amen

[*] Holy Ghost: may be substituted with the current Holy Spirit.
[**] the Dead: "inferi", the underworld or the dead in Latin.
X
GLORIA

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Ghost[*],
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

[*] Holy Ghost: may be substituted with the current Holy Spirit.

DE PROFUNDIS

Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord:
Lord, hear my voice.
Let Thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplication.

If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities:
Lord, who shall abide it.
For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness:
and because of Thy law,
I have waited for Thee, O Lord.

My soul hath waited on His word:
my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
From the morning-watch even until night,
let Israel hope in the Lord.

For with the Lord there is mercy:
and with Him plenteous redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel
from all her iniquities.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Ghost[*],
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

[*] Holy Ghost: may be substituted with the current Holy Spirit.

Pope Leo XIII, February 3, 1888)

Let us pray:
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all
the faithful, we beseech Thee to grant
to the souls of Thy servants the remission
of their sins, so that by our prayers
they may obtain pardon for which they long.
O Lord, who lives and reigns,
world without end. Amen

DE PROFUNDIS

Desde lo hondo a Ti grito, Seor; Seor,
escucha mi voz;
Estn Tus oidos atentos
a la voz de mi splica.

Si llevas cuenta de los delitos, Seor,
quin podr resistir?
Pero de ti procede el perdn,
y as infundes respeto.
Mi alma espera en el Seor.

Espera en su palabra;
mi alma aguarda al Seor,
ms que el centinela la aurora.
Aguarda Israel al Seor.

Como el centinela la aurora;
porque del Seor viene la misericordia.
la redencin copiosa;
y l redimir a Israel de todos sus delitos.

Gloria al Padre, al Hijo y al
Espritu Santo,
como es desde el principio,
es ahora y ser por los siglos de los siglos.
